Project description
In this first-person parkour game players navigate a towering temple in the clouds, using a unique tool: a force field gun. This gun shoots out force fields that, when jumped on, function like trampolines, launching players through the air and allowing them to scale daunting heights.
Cloud Temple was an exercise of my game designing skills, with heavy iterations, prototypes and playtesting. This project also makes use of my cloud shader developed for the Cloud Temple game art scene.

Game design process
The biggest issue i encountered when designing this game was, the fact that it was too hard to play. I didn't notice this at first because i was used to it. Here is where playtesting comes in. I had to make the game significantly easier just for it to be playable. I learned that getting something playable as fast as possible is one of the most important parts of designing a game. Even after all this, the game is not near perfect.
